Personality of R&D Professional

During my long years in the industry, I have interacted with R&D community world wide and have managed R&D activities in diverse domains, primarily centred around electronics, hardware, embedded systems, software, … I have seen how successful R&D Professionals behave, what personal traits and attitudes are required to be successful in R&D, what personal traits are not conducive to R&D though they maybe highly desired in other functions. R&D activities require a unique blend of resourcefulness, problem solving abilities, creativity, strongly supported by attention to details and disciplined approach to project management. I recently delivered a seminar at PMI, Pune Chapter.
